8 Reasons to NOT Send Your Daughter to College-Final Part

Here are the reasons to NOT send your daughter to college: 1. She will attract the wrong types of men. I share the common concern addressed to us, again mainly by angry women, that there are so many lazy men in our society. But what mystifies me is why girls continue to marry them and […]

8 Reasons to NOT Send Your Daughter to College- Part1

Probably the most controversial and rejected position we have at Fix the Family is that parents should not send their daughters to college. It is even more vehemently opposed than the submission of wives to their husbands. Both of these positions we have are a threat to the trophies of the feminist agenda, so the […]

Dear Readers, While watching a video about the recent suicide of a six month pregnant woman who was also a mother of two children, it pained me a lot.  She committed suicide as she was being tortured for more dowries.  On the other hand, I was startled when I read about the facilities provided in […]

Coffee with Society

| February 9, 2013 | 14 Comments

Hello and As Salamualaykum!

In a recent interview Ms. Society spoke on issues that make her glad and those that make her mad.  Some hot topics such as Politics, Marriage, Corruption, Education, Sports, Entertainment and Media were discussed.

Q. So, how young are you?

A: Laughs!  Glad you didn’t ask how old I’m.  As a matter of fact, I’m getting younger by the Century.

Q: Can you tell us something more about you?

A: This is the irony that even after millions of years, hardly anybody knows me well.  Anyways, I would say that the purpose of my being is to bring people together with common values in order to help each other towards peace and prosperity.

Q. What is your say about the community?

A: In a community people should respect and care about the need of other people.  However,       I don’t see this anymore.  Moreover, the community today is physically detached in most of the relationships and some are connected only virtually.  There’s more compassion, love, understanding on the Net whereas people are finding it difficult even to smile at each other.

Q: What are you glad and sad about?

A: I’m always glad when people understand their purpose of life and work towards helping each other.  What makes me sad is that people are moving very fast from civility to barbarism, savage and primitive behaviors.

Q: What are your goals?

A: Ha Ha!  90% of the inhabitants of the earth have no goals for their 50-70 years of life.

Q: One strongest thing that you have witnessed so far?
A: Belief.  It is the belief that has anchored the nations towards success or failure.

Q: People think twice before eating, wearing, going out, shopping, in fact most of the things are done keeping you in mind. Why do you control people so much?

A:  Laughs!  It’s the Ego that makes them do all this and I never expect them to do it.  The more inflated their Ego, the more they are conscious about me. Irrespective of the wealth, position, fame etc, if they have humility, I would be the first to recognize them and put them in my historical records.

Q: What is the foundation of all activities?

A: Intention:  Intentions transform thoughts into actions.  All outcomes are indeed a result of intentions.

Q: Why does everybody blame you?

A: Isn’t it strange?  They keep on making the wrong choices in every aspect of their lives and expect me to change instead of making the right choices and changing themselves.

Q: What are your most cherished moments?
A: when people are humane and compassionate towards each other.

Q: They say that you have become very bad and corrupt?

A: Ha Ha!  I would like to say two things; ‘Mirror Mirror on the Wall, who’s corrupt of them all’ and ‘as you sow, so you reap’.   Why blame me?

Q: If you could change one thing about a nation, what would it be and why?

A: (Chuckles) I would bring awareness. Lack of awareness has caused greatest misery to mankind than any other calamity.

Q: How could you say that people are lacking awareness in the 21st Century?

A: True! People have made great advancement in Science and Technology and are able to use the most sophisticated devices.  However, they are still unable to understand each other’s needs.  They have the tools and knowhow to improve their exterior world but very less to improve themselves. Only if they know themselves better, they would understand others.

Q: Your favorite quote?

A: Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results –  Albert Einstein.

Q: One thing you can’t live without?

A: Compassion!

Q: Craziest or weirdest thing that you’ve ever witnessed?

A: People being religiously traditional and sacrificing everything they own or have for my sake.

Q: Could you give just one example?

A: Weddings!  Did I tell them that their lives wouldn’t be filled with happiness if they don’t spend lavishly on weddings and get into loans and debts in order to give jewelry and dowries?

Q: What are your comments about Spirituality?

A:  Spirituality to me is bonding with each other in order to reach the Creator.  You really cannot connect with the Creator by ignoring his creation and purpose.

Q: Your thoughts about wars and calamities across the globe?

A: (Laughs) when people are busy destroying each other, God would be angry too.

Q: Any Turn offs?
A: Commercializing Education, Health and even Religion.

Q: What would you like to say about Politics?
A: It’s in the blood and breath of every individual and not just Politicians as believed.

Q: Your views on Education?
A: I don’t understand the purpose served by education if a majority of the educated is corrupt.

Q: Do you think Sports and Entertainment are helping you in any way?

A: These are meant to be hobbies and not purpose of life.  The focus of the young generation is moving away from their life purpose. If a majority of the parents desire their children to become celebrities in sports and entertainment, who would aspire to become Scientists, inventors, leaders and the like?  Would the future generations of our Country be just dancers, singers and players?

Q: Do you think Media is fulfilling its role?

A:  I would apply 80:20 rule and say that 80% are exploiting the public to make more money and 20% are serving the cause of humanity.

Q: What’s your piece of advice to the community at large?

A:  Live with a purpose and Leave with a legacy
